ISO marking
replacement request
This was our printing error, not yours. The corrected pair carries the right marking and uses the exact same certified filter.
What happened
A run of packaging printed ISO-12312-1 (a legacy standard for reusable optical equipment) where it should have read ISO 12312-2 (the solar filter standard your glasses meet). The filter material, transmission, and protective performance are identical across both batches โ only the reference code on the printed label differs.

What this means for you
Your glasses are safe
The filter material, UV/IR blocking, and visible-light transmission are identical to the correctly-labelled batch. There is no performance difference whatsoever.
Same filter, corrected print
When your replacement arrives you can hold both pairs up. You will see the same filter โ the only difference is the printed reference text now reads ISO 12312-2.
If you feel uneasy
Simply set the affected printed pair aside and use the replacement when it arrives. We completely understand and support that choice.
